Merge is excited to announce that Kendall Square Workplace has won an IIDA New England Design Award in the Workspace 20,000 – 80,000 SF category. The 53,000 SF renovation of an existing technology company’s headquarters in Cambridge, Massachusetts comprised new workspace, collaborative spaces, meeting rooms, dining facilities, and performance/ lecture halls across three floors. The disparate programs and environments were unified by abstract spatial and material representations of New England ecosystems.
